In the 1970s this property was contaminated with paint and paint related chemicals by Grover Callahan.
In 1982 a preliminary clean up was performed on the site and in 2012 over 2,000 tons of soil were removed. The EPA and Missouri DNR thoroughly tested the site and determined there are no additional concerns.
In 2021 the Marquart family purchased the farm and the single family residence next door to the east. We are updating the home and plan to move to our new homestead in the fall of 2021.
The City of Wildwood announced this property is considered for inclusion in the Special Circumstances Overlay District. This would effectively prevent us from being able to maintain our property.
